Day 01:- MEETING POINT HOWRAH STATION

Our representative who will escort you to Train in Howrah Station.

 

Day 02:- TRAVEL

Day & Night in Train

 

Day 03 - Arrive Jammu & Transfer to Srinagar (300 Kms/9 Hrs approx.)

Arrive Jammu railway station, meet and transfer to Srinagar (300 Kms / 9 Hrs approx.). Arrive Srinagar, check-in at hotel, night stay.

 

Day 04 - Srinagar-Sonmarg-Drass-Kargil (234 Kms / 8 Hrs)

Morning around 9 start for Kargil, on the way visit Sonmarg, Zozi-La, Drass, evening arrive Kargil, check-in at Hotel, Night stay.

 

Day 5: Kargil – Leh

Today After breakfast. Drive toward Leh which is 234 km and going to take 6 hours . After cross the Fotu La, which is the highest pass on the Leh – Srinagar road and pretty much divides the majorly Buddhist district of leh from the primarily islamic population of Kargil. Enroute we’ll be visiting Lamayaru. It is also known for its Moonland like surface. Via visit Lamayaru, followed by Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib & Hall of fame. Enroute also check the confluence of Indus & Zanskar river called Sangam by locals. Overnight at Leh.

 

Day 06 - After breakfast visit the below places ( 45 Kms approx.)

On this day you will go a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries and most popular in this area.

Shey Gompais about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh. There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17’Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa.

Thiksey Gompa, close to Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order . This Monastery is more than 500 year old .

Hemis Monastery, about 45 kms south of Leh it is one of the most famous and largest monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded in the early 17’Th century. The setting is perfect with the monastery cradled in a lovely valley, surrounded by Mountain and fronted by long Mani walls. Shanti stupa / Hall of Fame etc. Overnight in Guest House.

Day 07- Leh to Hunder ( Nubra) (125 Kms / 4-5 Hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass(Highest Motor able Road in the World, 18,380 ft)from here you can feel the cold dry and thin air like you are in glacier . Arrive at Deskit by Afternoon. You can have lunch as Diskit is Head quarter of Nubra Block and visit Diskit Monastery .One is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and Camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder. Overnight in Hunder.

 

Day 08- Hunder to Turtuk & back to Hunder (85 Kms/ 3.5 Hrs)

Early in morning drive to Turtuk village ( Village is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place captured by Indians in the War of 1972 with Pakistan, enroute visit Tyakshi (it is the border which divides India and Pakistan),Enjoy the Lush Green village and Bulti Culture,Dress , Food etc Back to leh . Overnight leh.

 

Day 09-: Transfer from Hunder ( Nubra) to Leh (125 Kms / 4-5 Hrs)

After early breakfast transfer to Leh, arrive Leh, evening free for you for shopping & collecting souvenirs, as it is your last day in Leh

 

Day 10- Leh – Pangong, via Chang la (pass) (5320mts) (5-6hrs)

After breakfast, drive (154km/ 6 hrs) to the spectacular Changthang Valley, winding your way over the exhilarating Chang la (5320m.)- The second highest point of our journey. The landscape on the way to Pangong is just spectacular. Overnight in fixed cam or guesthouse.

 

Day 11- Pangong to Tsomoriri Lake (240 Kms / 9-10 Hrs approx)

Start your day early when the surroundings of the lake look even more beautiful. If you want, you can click some photographs here. Later on, start driving towards Tsomoriri Lake. The largest lake in Ladakh, it lies at an altitude of 15075 feet. You drive up to Kharu and then right to the Moriri Lake. En-route halt at Chumathang Hot springs. Drive past Mahe Bridge and then drive towards the beautiful Tsomoriri Lake. Spot Himalayan marmots. Evening arrival at the Lake. Check-in at the tented camp near the lake. Near the lake, you can spot as many as 34 avifauna species. The lake has been declared a Wetland of international significance under the Ramsar Convention in 2003.Stay overnight in the camp.

 

Day 12- Tsomoriri to Tsokar then to kelong. (215 Kms / 8 Hrs approx.)

Early morning drive to Sarchu passing Puga (Sulphur mine), Tsokar Lake, Skyang chu thang (The biggest and Highest Plateau on Stretch about 45 kms), In Pang you can enjoy the Lunch, then Leave for Sarchu via crossing Nakeela and Lchung la . Night stay at Keloyng.

 

Day 13- Kelong to Manali. (117 Kms / 4 Hrs approx.)

After Breakfast leave for Manali, a beautiful Scenic drive by crossing Baralacha la pass (4845 mts), Lunch at Sissu village, later cross famous Rothang pass, (Which is 13050 fts) overnight in Manali & We will bid you good bye with your cherishable memories with us of your Ladakh tour. Manali night stay.

 

Day 14- Manali to Delhi (540 Kms / 13 Hrs approx.)

Afternoon by Volvo transfer to Delhi.

 

Day 15- Delhi to Howrah

Morning reach in Delhi and transfer to New Delhi station.

 

Day 16- Reach in Howrah
